Datuk Wahiruddin is also a Trustee of the Tun Ahmad Shah Foundation.
Previously, the Director of Corporate Affairs Shell Malaysia responsible for reputation management, public relations, risks and crisis management, corporate reporting and communications. Also, Executive Director in several Shell Malaysia subsidiaries in Malaysia. Also, held other appointments in Shell - Head of Project Development, Head of Infrastructure Services, Senior Manager, Health, Safety and Environment and Offshore Installation Manager.
Graduated in Master Degree of Science from Cranfield Institute of Technology (CIT), United Kingdom and Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from University Technology Malaysia (UTM). A chartered and professional civil engineer with more than 30 years of project implementation and management experience. Datuk Wahiruddin is a former lieutenant colonel, served the Royal Regiment of Engineers of the Malaysian Armed Forces for 26 years before joining Shell. Datuk Wahiruddin was conferred the Darjah Kebesaran Panglima Gemilang Darjah Kinabalu (Knight Commander of the Order of Kinabalu) in 2007.

YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Lim Chow Hock is currently the Past President of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM). He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Malaya and a postgraduate certificate in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) and an Honorary Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). On the academic front, he is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Malaya. He also sits as a member of the Board of Governors at the Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur, and as a member of the Industry Advisory Panel of the Civil Engineering Department of Monash University Malaysia.
YBhg. Dato’ Ir. Lim retired from public service in 2014 after serving for 36 years with the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (DID). He has extensive experience in the fields of irrigation, agricultural drainage, flood mitigation, urban stormwater management, dam engineering, river engineering, coastal zone management, hydrology, and sustainable water resources management and governance.
Since his retirement in mid-2014, Dato’ Ir. Lim has been with EcoClean Technology Sdn. Bhd. as the Deputy Chairman. From 2015–2019, Dato’ Ir. Lim was appointed as a Commissioner of SPAN, a national body that regulates the services related to potable water supply and sewerage. During the same period, he was also appointed as a Technical Advisor to the State Government of Penang on matter related to flooding and water resources management.

Mr. Wong founded EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd in the year 2000 which is a licensee for Continuous Deflection Seperation (CDS) Gross Pollutant Trap (GPT) in Malaysia. CDS is a world leading technology in the field of stromwater treatment since 1999.
Mr. Wong completed a Mechanical Engineering Diploma & Post Diploma course in Singapore Polytechnic in 1978 and 1980 respectively and was registered with the Engineering Council in UK as an Incorporated Engineer. He also completed a MBA from Henley Management College and was conferred a Master Degree from the Brunel University, UK.
Mr. Wong has close to 50 years working experience in which more than 10 years were abroad. During his 11 years service with McConnell Dowell International (NZ) and 8 years with John Laing International Ltd. (UK), he has undertaken major projects like Master Planning of Mersing Camp for the Special Forces of Malaysian Armed Forces, Nucleus Hospitals for 12 Districts in a joint venture with YTL Group, Terebu Layang Layang Naval Outpost in South China Sea and Pasir Gudang Power Station Jetty.
He set up Y. Wong & Partners in 1996. As a consultant, he has advised several International companies such as Leighton International (Australia), Bilfinger Berger (Germany), Universal Dockyard Ltd (HK) and China Fujian Engineering (China) and also asisted ARUP for their GCS study project with Petronas.
EcoClean Technolgy started off as a joint venture company in the year 1998 with McConnell Group, which is privately owned by the McConnell family, the very family who used to own McConnell Dowell. The McConnell family has recognized Mr. Wong’s past contribution and were content with his leadership of EcoClean Technology. The company strives to contiue being the market leader in Stormwater Treatment in Malaysia and has undertaken projects in Putrajaya, the Iskandar Region, River of Life for Klang River and Melaka River clean up works.
Empire Green Industries Sdn Bhd was recently acquired as a subsidiary company to provide Green Roof and Green Wall solutions in the region using ‘soilless technology’ which also has the potential to be used as a grey water treatment system.

Jenny graduated with a Diploma in Management Programme (DIMP) from Malaysia Institute of Management (MIM). She then furthered her studies and graduated from RMIT, Australia with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration (BBBA).
Equipped with more than 40 years of working experience with construction companies and more than 20 years in managing CDS Technology and Sewerage System businesses, she is responsible for all the commercial and financial matters, including coordinating with suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors in the company. She also involves herself heavily with the project team in the project life cycle from the design, supply and installation of the company’s various products.
Besides that, Jenny also monitors the marketing and administration of the company to ensure smooth workflow. The annual business plan and bdugets are also screend by Jenny to provide a healthy growth to the company.
IR. LEE CHING TONG
CONTRACT MANAGER - EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd
Ir. Lee holds the position of Senior Contract Manager since mid 2012. He graduated from the University of Malaya in the year 1978 with a degree in Civil Engineering B.E. (Hons.). He is a corporate member of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
Ir Lee has about 45 years of working experience and began his career with the Drainage and Irrigation Department, Malaysia. Over the years, he advanced his career through some ten numbers of establishments and companies all in the construction industry. His experience covers various positions such as technical manager, senior costing manager, senior contracts manager and senior project manager.
His knowledge covers works involving drainage, sewer reticulations & treatment plant, water reticulations & RC reservoirs, bridges, expressways, mixed development of highrise residential buildings & shopping mall and project management.
Ir. Lee is now a senior member of the management team for EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd.
CHIN LEE TAU
ACCOUNTANT - EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd
Chin Lee Tau has previously held positions for Finance Management in Banks, SMEs and Healthcare businesses. Chin is a certified accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a Chartered Accountant member of the Malaysia Institute of Accountant and an Executive Master in Lean Management from Vinayaka Missions International University College.
Chin has been with EcoClean Technology for more than 5 years. Her primary role in the company includes monitoring the financial health of the company, review financial reports, explore ways to reduce costs and advice the team on financial matters with regards to procurement of material, transportation and sub-contractors. Besides that, Chin will also seek for opportunities in the market to acquire potential companies and products to expand the companies range of services. Chin also has extensive knowledge in special tax laws and regulations.
Back in the days, Chin had conducted lectures in Business Changing modules in response to technological advances to reduce the amount of time it takes to produce financial reports thus increasing productivity in other tasks.
LIU CHI TING
PROJECT, DESIGN & MARKETING MANAGER - EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd
Liu Chi Ting holds the dual position of Project, Design and Marketing Manager at EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd. Liu began his career as a Civil & Structural Draughtsman at Sepakat Setia Perunding, progressed to Civil & Structural Designer at Sehati Jurutera Perunding and has been with EcoClean Technology since 2009 and is now one of the longest serving staff in the company.
Liu has attended courses organized by the Association of Consulting Engineers Malaysia (ACEM) in Autocad Drafting Technique Level II (1993), ACEM Basic Draughtsman Course (1995), ACEM Design Draughtsman Course (1999) and Roevac TPT Design Training in Germany (2010).
With a vast amount of knowledge and experience, Liu has successfully managed various projects all around Malaysia as well as overseas. More notably are the following projects:

Liu also actively seeks new ways to modify and upgrade the design of our existing products to meet the needs of the market and place the company as a competitive player in the stormwater industry.
MELVYN KUAN YONG MENG
ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER - EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd
Melvyn Kuan Yong Meng graduated from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus with a M.Eng in Civil Engineering. Right after graduation, he kickstarted his career as a Site Engineer with Cantilever Sdn Bhd.
In Cantilever, Melvyn was exposed to a vast scope of expertise from structural knowledge to the experience of the construction industry specifically in bridge building. He grew through various projects during his time at Cantilever such as the TRX External Roads along Jalan Tun Razak, DASH CA4 Package along Jalan Sungai Buloh as well as the road widening and upgrading works for SILK Highway Phase 2.
Melvyn recently joined EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd with the task to plan, manage and oversee the various project operations currently undertaken by the company from inception to handing over to clients. He also deals directly with various stakeholders such as clients, sub-contractors and suppliers. His responsibility also includes establishing new standard operating procedures to further improve the effectiveness of workflow in the company. Being the youngest member of the company, Melvyn strives to incorporate his structural knowledge with stormwater treatment to further enhance and establish the company’s position as a market leader in the stormwater industry.
WONG LEE ING
DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd
Wong Lee Ing joined EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd in 2009 and is also one of the longest serving staff in the company. Wong graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science and kickstarted her career in the wasterwater treatment industry. She has obtained more than 15 years of experience in the design and calculation for the construction of sewerage treatment plants. Her experience also encompasses the water treatement systems for resorts, low cost housing, mixed township, factory and commercial projects.
Wong plays an important role in the company whereby she incorporates concepts and suggestions from clients and managers to develop the design of the products to meet the needs and requirements of every project. She takes charge in providing insights for preliminary design and technical aspects of the project.
Being with the company for almost 14 years, Wong has vast knowledge in all the company products and is in charge of developing proposal drawings, preliminary drawings, shop drawings and construction drawings for the company’s projects.
FAIZOR BIN MUSTAPA YUSOF
ASSISTANT ENGINEER - EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd
Faizor Mustapa began providing his service and expertise with EcoClean Technology Sdn Bhd in 2013. He obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the International University College of Twintech, KL.
He began his career in Texas Instrument Sdn Bhd as a draughtsman and technician, building up his technical knowledge as well as sharpening his people relation skills.
With almost 10 years of service with the company, Faizor has taken charge of the execution of various projects all around Malaysia dealing with various stakeholders on the job such as clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.
